Background. Global crises in the fields of health, ecology and social cohesion share a common structure: the decoupling of the self from the implicit orders of life – collective thanatopoiesis. The theory of relative biocentric health (rbHT) proposes a paradigm shift: from egocentric survival towards biospoiesis (life-centred unfolding), guided by 10 research questions.
Theory. rbHT is based on four fundamental assumptions: the invisible shapes the visible; duality; coexistence; equilibrium. The anthropocentric and biocentric cores form a pair of poles – human versus life at the centre. Five holographic characteristics – source, connection, rhythm, biospoietic leap, border – serve as universal signposts. Four new concepts: (1) biospoiesis/thanatopoiesis as a polarity – biocentric borders; (2) heart intelligence; (3) a sense of possibilities; (4) quantum psychology. The penguin-polar bear paradigm integrates anthropocentric stabilization and biocentric transformation.
Empirical basis. The concepts emerged from four sources: text analyses, qualitative research, personal experience and over 30 years of empirical studies – biorhythmometric and immunological longitudinal analyses, image analyses of Biodanza groups and children’s drawings, intercultural validation, and the first comprehensive evaluation. A LASSO regression identified the connection to the first uncaused cause as the strongest predictor of all holographic characteristics.
Conclusions. Where ego-dominance gives rise to thanatopoiesis, heart intelligence enables biospoiesis. Humanity fails due to a lack of inner maturity, not a lack of knowledge. Every crisis signals a disrupted implicit order – and the opportunity for its deeper unfolding.
